It's race week at The 6th Annual Arizona Distance Classic Half Marathon and Oro Valley Hospital 5k on March 28, 2010. The event is the ULTIMATE Celebration of the Active lifestyle.

ULTIMATE COURSE - This is the nicest half marathon course in the country. In addition to running through Honeybee Canyon (the largest collection of Saguaro Cacti in the region), the course features spectacular views of all 5 mountain ranges, the Rincon Mountains, the Tucson Mountains, the Santa Rita Mountains, the Santa Catalina's and the Tortollas. ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE - Plenty of parking at the start and finish, great aid stations, a fantastic spread of finish line food.

Your experience in the 2010 Arizona Distance Classic can be cutting edge thanks to Tweet My Time, a technological phenomenon in race tracking.

Participants in this year's race (both the half marathon and 5k) will have reports of their progress automatically "tweeted" at each checkpoint split along the course! These updates will include the athlete's progress and estimated finish time, and can be posted to Twitter and to their Facebook status.

TweetMyTime is provided by M3S Sports FREE to all participants.

Register online for Tweet My Time before Saturday March 27th to make sure you are all set.

Once your registration for TweetMyTime is confirmed, the program will begin as soon as the start line is crossed on race day!

Jason Lewis and his team from Mizuno will be out at All About Running and Walking for packet pickup. The hours are from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Friday, and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday. John Corbett and the rest of his crew from All About Running and Walking will have great deals and take care of your last minute needs. Mizuno will have the mobile fitting tech lab there and you will be able to "test drive" the latest Mizuno footwear.

Make sure you bring your race confirmation email with your bib number to make picking up your packet a breeze.
