The first IPGA webinar, "Role Management in
Policy GovernanceŽ" will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 3pm-4pm (EST).
This webinar identifies the common problem of effectively defining a board's role as well as specifically establishing clear governance and management roles. The webinar introduces you to the Policy GovernanceŽ model. Using real examples we will identify what will change when adopting such a model so that the board can fulfill its obligation of true ownership accountability.
Topics include: defining board purpose, role descriptions, boundary setting and effective monitoring. You will gain both useful insights into how to ensure the board works as one and practical ideas on how to ensure effective and productive interactions. This webinar is aimed at board members and managers.
