Kindergarten Service Project

Oak Grove kindergartners are in their last month of collecting coins for the Ronald McDonald house. Their goal is the fill the wagon! If you have any loose change or dollar bills laying around, please stop by and drop them in their wagon at the South Campus. Students have almost reached their goal of filling a large garbage can with pop tops - you can drop these off as well!  If you have any pop can recycling to do in the month of April, take them to any MinnKota recycling location and ask that your pop can money be donated to the Oak Grove kindergarten service project. Thank you for supporting our kindergartners and the Ronald McDonald House!

Giving Hearts Day: Class Challenge Report

Congratulations and thank you to the following classes for helping to make Giving Hearts Day such a huge success for Oak Grove!

The Class of 1954 responded with the most participants with 11, closely followed by the Classes of 1947 and 1977 with 10 each! We want to thank those who volunteered to contact classmates to "get out the vote."

The Class of 1947 had the highest percentage of participation at just over 30%, followed by the Class of 1954 at just a shade below 27%, and the Classes of 1941 and 1943 with 22% each.

The Class of 1958 blessed Oak Grove with the largest class gift of $4,550, followed by the Class of 1979 with a gift of $3,000, and in third place with a gift of $2,213 is the Class of 1973.

We received 140 gifts from alumni totaling $31,035.39. For the day, including the match and incentive gifts, we raised just short of $165,000!  Thank you to each of you who thought of Oak Grove on Giving Hearts Day and throughout the year!
