eCRT Featured at 2012 AGI Classified Regional User Group
Riverside Research supported AGI's 2012 Classified Regional User Group Meeting earlier this week by presenting our Enterprise Collection Research Tool (eCRT), a web-based access calculator for space-based remote sensing. Developed by our MAD Lab, eCRT uses AGI's STK Engine to generate accurate collection feasibility reports capable of enhancing system capabilities. The purpose of the meeting is to present real-world examples of how AGI software like STK is used to support current and future defense, intelligence, and space initiatives. Read More
Did You Know? The MAD Lab recently uploaded two videos to demonstrate their Automated Collection Planning Tool (ACPT) and Aircraft Mission Planner (iAMP) toolsets. Check them out below:

Training Program for Displaced Workers Expanded
The "open source" research course developed by our E&T Directorate in 2011 to help NASIC train Dayton's displaced workforce in intelligence analysis is now open to local law enforcement, businesses, and colleges. "Taking what is being done at NASIC and providing it in a manner where it's open source, non-classified, usable techniques is a new initiative I think will pay dividends," said Congressman Mike Turner in a press conference at our Dayton Research Center. Watch the news coverage here. Open source research is a technology-based skill set for finding, sorting, analyzing, displaying, and disseminating information gathered from publically available sources. Read More |
E&T Supports STEMM Summer Camp for Dayton Students
For the second consecutive year, Riverside Research supported Chaminade Julienne's Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine (STEMM) Gateway Academy Summer Camp with hands-on activities designed to educate students in remote sensing and space science. During two summer sessions, Michael Lovingshimer of our E&T Directorate led 46 Dayton-area students in grades 7-9 in a guided exploration of our Remote Sensing and Geodesy e-Texts, a lunar phase lesson, and an airborne reconnaissance activity involving an Air Hog Helicopter.
