Last Friday marked the first official day of fall, the beginning of shorter nights and the transition to cooler weather. It also marked a small milestone for Erb's when we were named to a select group of resellers certified to offer eConciege, powered by Xerox. The name is in every bit reflective of its play on words. The service or tool has gained momentum across the states competing with the Staples and Offices Maxes of the world by offering the quickest, easiest way to order print supplies.
When Xerox first approached us with the opportunity to implement the service and offer the tool to our community of customers and prospects we were a bit hesitant. As all things IT, it's tough being the guinea pig or as I like to refer to it, the front-runners in the roll out of something new and UNFAMILIAR.
After some time massaging the concept and working directly with the developers and our partners at Xerox, we got comfortable, and then we got excited. It's been our goal to be the one-stop shop for any and all of your technology needs. While we could fulfill any supplies order that came through our door, we weren't offering the most efficient method of doing so. Here we are preaching efficiency and ease-of-use and you have to call in your supplies orders.
So, without further a-do, or further ramblings, I'm excited to announce that we now offer online supplies ordering! You probably didn't fall out of your chair for that one, I get it. So let me get to the cool part - it's like having your own personal printer supplies assistant. Just off the top of my head, I can think of multiple benefits including proactive alerts that alert you (or whoever is responsible) when your supplies are low. It also has automated printer model and associated supplies identification and supports most leading brands and models (both network office and MFP devices). Oh and the kicker, FREE service rewards.
It really is as simple as downloading the desktop application. Trust me; we were even able to do it! This month's newsletter is packed full of rich content with further details on the program, anywhere from launching the service to safety and security. Also if you'll notice below, our woman of the hour, Sharon Sell; if you have further questions
or still just prefer to purchase your order over the phone, she is your go-to-gal. Hey, we said we were going to upgrade our archaic buying method, we didn't' say we were going to eradicate it completely!
Cheers,
Mike Brogan, President
