ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM

The Hillside Food Outreach has created our Adopt-A-

Family Program to give everyone a chance to help in the fight against hunger in Westchester and Putnam Counties.  Starting May 6, 2011, you can log onto our website, www.hillsidefoodoutreach.org to sign up to adopt a family that we serve,  The need  is growing faster than we can keep up with the demand.  We are getting more calls than ever before asking us to help our neighbors in need,   It is a really sad fact that more and more or our neighbors are needing help to obtain one of the basics of life for themselves and their families.  We are working hard to keep up with the need but we can use your help!!

As the cost of food is also increasing we are finding it more difficult to keep ahead of the demand.  This is where you have the wonderful opportunity to help us help our neighbors.  Your  tax deductible donation of $45 a month will help us to purchase good quality food for our clients.  $45 can help us provide enough food for a family of 4 for 2 weeks.  All you have to do is log onto our website and click on the donate tab.  Our SECURE site will take all the necessary information to automatically deduct $45 monthly (or any amount of you choice) to go to help us feed those in need.  The full amount of your donation is tax deductible.  By utilizing our automatic deduction process you don't have to worry about forgetting to make your donation, it will be automatically done for you!!

I can't think of a better way to spend our charitable dollars then to help people right in our own backyard!!  Thank you for your generosity and willingness to help us reach those in need, right next door!!!
