THOMAS VECCHIO TO SPEAK AT WCCP FLORIDA BAR WORKERS' COMPENSATION FORUM 

           Shareholder Thomas Vecchio will be speaking at the 2012 Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Forum.  Held in partnership with the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, the Association of Workers' Compensation Claims Professional's (WCCP) Forum is an annual two day educational conference for workers' compensation professionals of all types.  This year's event will be held April 12-13, 2012 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

          Mr. Vecchio will speak on the statutory presumptions applicable to public employees.  Litigation over "heart and lung" claims has risen dramatically over the past several years.  These claims have significant financial impact for public employers, and are resulting in a body of law that is unique to these types of claims.  A link to WCCP's web site with all of the information on this year's Forum is below:
