Letter From The President
Greetings Members; March, 2011, was the 40th anniversary of the Suburban Republican Women's Club. One would think that 40 years could have prepared for November 2012. Over the next 19 months, we will be voting in a primary and general election for the next President of our great nation. Much has changed in the election process since we were chartered by the National Federation of Republican Women, in March of 1971. We will be spending the next year learning new ways to evaluate candidates, and new ways to help the right candidates get elected. Donna Bundy, President |

Good Night Sweet Heart, It's Time To Go
In April of 2011, the Suburban women bid a fond goodbye to the emblem that served us for almost 20 twenty years, according to Donna Bundy, SRWCF Board President.
"It's a new time. The Republican Party has taken a serious break from the principles our country was founded on. This past November gave all Republicans and constitutionally minded patriots the opportunity to regain our American values. As we renew as a nation, we determined it was time to renew as an organization. There's much to be done. We will be facing many challenges in the next two years to regain our country. We wanted our organization's logo to reflect our renewed determination to face those challenges head on. The shoe represents us as as the Suburban Republican Women's Club, Federated," say Kimberly Carroll, VP of SRWCF. "After all," she adds with a wink, "Republican Women are the Heart and Sole of the Republican Party."
So with much appreciation, we say goodby to the emblem that served us so well, and we say hello to a new logo and a new beginning.

Republican Federated women at the local, state, and national levels. The program honors individual Clubs and State Federations that spend tremendous amounts of time volunteering (non-paid) for our Republican Party, our Republican candidates, and our Federation of Republican Women.
If you have participated by volunteering your time and energy (especially candidates) please forward those hours by May 1, 2011 via email at gayle@classicinteriorsolutions.com to Gayle Giles or by calling at 407-833-3710.Thank you, Gayle Giles Ways and Means Chair

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WOMAN CAN MAKE THE FLORIDA FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN PASSES A RESOLUTION CALLING ON THE STATE TO FOLLOW THE RNC PRIMARY RULES
The resolution passed at the FFRW annual board meeting and sent to Florida legislators has made the national news. The Florida Federation of Republican Women passed a resolution calling on the State to follow the RNC primary rules and not move its primary earlier than March.
"What an exciting time to be a Florida Federated woman," states Donna Bundy, president of The Suburban Republican Women's Club, Federated.
"Being a little part of such an historic event was a wonderful experience." continues Bundy. "Having Kim Carroll on the FFRW committee that drafted the resolution is a wonderful thing for Suburban Republican Women. We know that a single woman can make a difference; we proved that women can make an even bigger difference."
