WE CAN's Woman of the Ye

As the Cape readies for its "season openers," WE CAN staff and volunteers are preparing for our 8th annual A Day of Words, Wit, and Wisdom to be held at  Wychmere Beach Club on Thursday, June 7th. We'll be honoring the outstanding Liz Walker as our Woman of the Year, and - although the event hasn't taken place yet - the energy generated this year has been astounding.

Twenty-five companies have joined us as sponsors, donating a record-breaking $36,000; therefore, every dollar raised from ticket and raffle sales will go directly to WE CAN programs and services.  The event also sold out in two weeks, setting a new record and catching us all by surprise.  As we approach June 7th, we feel deep gratitude for the support and positive energy surrounding WE CAN.

Please read on about our spectacular business partners, terrific volunteers, comparative data (showing our growth and accomplishment), and numerous up-coming WE CAN programs and opportunities.
