AFTER A LOT OF TIME searching and gathering information, we have finally found a way to become the first Croatian family to home school. While it is still technically illegal to do so, we have found a legal loophole to be able to home school through an umbrella school in the States due to the children's American citizenship. This means that our children will be enrolled in an American school but we will be using Croatian curriculum. We have already managed to get much of what we need in place and are eagerly waiting to start home schooling for this year's 2nd semester, after the New Year. Our children's school principle, here in Croatia, has promised to assist us with anything we may need with regard to the Croatian curriculum.

AFTER A LOT OF PREPARATION, all of our church's equipment has been moved to the new location. Our offices will remain at the old location and we will continue to hold our weekly prayer meetings and street evangelism there as well, but our Sunday discipleship program church services, along with our children's church, will be held at our new location, which is not far from the center of town. This location provides more room for our children's ministry and parking, and while it is not a permanent solution for us, after so many years we are happy to have a place with proper heating. Often times in the winter it would get so cold that our children, as well as adults, would often become ill.

AS USUAL, in December we will be hosting several evangelistic outreaches. In addition to our regular street evangelism - that we will be moving to Friday nights - our worship band Bez Kompromisa will be holding two concerts. One of the evangelistic concerts will be held on the main square in the center of Zagreb as part of Zagreb's annual Christmas festival called Advent in the Heart of Zagreb. The city council has given our band a 30-minute time slot, during which time we will be handing out a Croatian translation of the Chick tract "Humbug". The other evangelistic concert will be held in our new Sunday facility where, in addition to the concert, we will share a simple gospel message and give out free copies of the book "Jesus, Our Destiny", written by the German evangelist Wilhelm Busch. Please continue to pray for all of these outreaches as well as for Bez Kompromisa, as they have completed everything necessary for their new worship CD and are just waiting for the funds to print, package and prepare it for sale. Original Croatian worship music is rare to find, as there are very few original Croatian worship CDs out there.
