ITS BEEN TWO YEARS since the historical evening, when band members from several churches came together to lead Christians from all over Zagreb in worship to Almighty God with original songs written by members of our congregation. The recording had to be set aside while it waited production, and while we waited for God to provide the finances. While there were times we wondered if we'd ever have the opportunity to complete this wonderful project, somehow we just knew that God would come through. If there is one thing we know, it is that God is never early and never late - and He proved that to be true, once again! At just the perfect time He came through with the finances to cover our studio costs. We give God praise for His miraculous provision and we believe God will provide the finances to print the CD and prepare it for sale. Please keep this project in your prayers while our singers and musicians are completing the studio work and the producer finishes putting the final touches on the completion of the project. And please agree with us in prayer that this project will be a blessing to both the Christians and the unsaved of our country.

IT SEEMS THAT MARCH was the month for miraculous provision for us. The city of Zagreb agreed to donate money toward our annual May 1st barbeque outreach at Jarun Lake! This year we once again plan to give away free hot dogs and hamburgers. We are also planning to set up a stage for a concert by Bez Kompromisa, rent inflatable jumpers and provide games and face painting for the kids, hand out tracts, and basically minister to and reach out to the unsaved. May 1st is a great time for outreach at the lake, since it is a national holiday and comes around the time when the weather starts warming up. People are anxious to get out in the fresh air and enjoy nature and sports. There are great parks around the lake that attract families, and it is our desire to take advantage of this time to reach out to the unsaved. Please keep this project in your earnest prayers.

THE RISING ECONOMIC CRISIS in Croatia combined with all that is happening in around the world and the rising cost of oil has caused gas prices in Croatia to spike to a projected estimate of nearly $9.00 a gallon in the near future. As it is, currently it has become increasingly difficult for our people to attend Thursday night Bible study, add to that the fact that we have extremely limited parking and the cost of parking in the vicinity of the church is extremely expensive. As we considered the difficulty we were facing and the options we had before us, we realized the best option for us would be to open home groups each Thursday evening in place of Bible study. We are currently preparing our home group leaders to take on this new and important role of leading and discipling those who will be attending their home groups. We take this role very seriously, and believe that this will make our ministry more effective. We will be implementing home groups on May 5th. It is our prayer that this will be an effective form out outreach and friendship evangelism in our neighborhoods around the Greater Zagreb area. Please keep our home group leaders and assistants in your prayers, that God will give them wisdom in leading and discipling those God entrusts to them.
