Calling for Nominations for the Mackenzie Awards
Each year, the Alumni Association presents awards to Collingwood alumni who have exhibited outstanding excellence in one of the four strands. Past recipients include Dr. Riley Senft '97 (Service), Janet McLachlan '95 (Athletics), Andrew Stewart '90 (Arts) and Wendy Fok '00 (Academics).
If you wish to nominate a Collingwood graduate who has gone on to exhibit outstanding excellence in any of the four strands (Academics, Arts, Athletics or Service), we welcome your nominations. Click here for a nomination form. Please contact us by October 1, 2012.

News from COLLINGWOOD SCHOOL
Collingwood Introduces a new House System
Collingwood has introduced a multi-grade House System in the Senior School commencing September of 2012. Six houses have been created, named in honour of the following people who have had a profound impact on the School:
Groos House - named after Laura Groos, our first founder
Geer House - named after Nick Geer, the first President of our founding Board of Governors
Mackenzie House - named after David Mackenzie, our first Headmaster
Houssian House - named after Joe and Joanne Houssian, our 'first couple' of fundraising
Senft House - named after Jean Senft, the first Chair of the Collingwood School Foundation
Byrd House - named after Liz Byrd, our first Chair of Parents' Council
Roger Hatch Returns to Morven
We're delighted to announce that Roger Hatch has returned to the Morven campus after spending a number of years at Wentworth as the Co-Head of the Junior School. In his new capacity as Senior Master, he will be working with the new House Masters and will also be involved with alumni relations.
