Saturday, June 16All alumni Dads and Lads are invited to this event. Rugby will be played at Klahanie from 3:30 - 5pm, when Dads and Lads are invited to Earls for some complimentary drinks and appies.

'11 Grads Konantz & Scholz Gear West for Prostate Cancer Research
On May 2nd, Willy Konantz '11 and Taylor Scholz '11 began their 5,000 km ride across Canada to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer research. Classmate Mikhail Zalesky '11 has been driving their support vehicle. So far they have raised over $133,000 towards their goal of $150,000 for research at the Vancouver Prostate Cancer Centre. They're scheduled to arrive in West Vancouver on June 9th. Follow them / support them on their Facebook page and on their blog. Governor General's Academic Medal for 2011  Congratulations to Jonathan Longcroft '11 on being the recipient of the Governor General's Academic Medal for being the top student in Collingwood's graduating class of 2011. He received his award in late May from Headmaster Rodger Wright. Jonathan has just completed his first year at Harvard and is heading off to Israel for the summer on a fellowship to work in the solar panel industry. |
Three Adventurous '08 Grads take on the Mongol Rally
 2008 grads and adventurists Darien Niamir, Peter Muench and Mathieu Dubuc are doing the 2012 Mongol Rally across 19 countries, beginning in the UK and ending in China - all for two very worthy causes. They are fund-raising for The Prince Alexander Fund, which provides funding for Round Square International Service Projects, and for the Lotus Children's Centre Charitable Trust, the official charity of the Mongol 2012 Rally.

If you wish to nominate a Collingwood graduate who has gone on to exhibit outstanding excellence in any of the following strands: Academics, Arts, Athletics or Service, we welcome your nominations. Click here for a nomination form.
