A New King of the South
Three Players in the End Game
The expression "time of the end" does not mean the end of time but
rather the time at which the willful king or the Papacy was pushed out
of the Middle East by the Saracen's.
There are three powers which are referred to in Dan 11:40-45.
These were the key players after the fall of the Roman Empire in the
territory of the old Greek empire with which this prophecy is focused.
- The Willful King - the Papacy
- The King of the South - the Saracens
- The King of the North - the Turks
The Saracens swept through the east. They conquered Egypt which
was the territory of the Ptolomies, the former King of the South. Thus
they became the "new" King of the South.

Saracen's "Push" at Rome A Common Mistake It is vital to recognize that the Kings of the North and South do not push or wage war against one another as many have mistakenly thought. Instead they push at or attack the third party or system referred to as "him" with the King of the North eventually becoming successful. The "him" is apostate Christendom described in verses 36-39 and headed up by the Papacy in the West and Byzantium in the East.

The Fifth Trumpet
God Sends "Locusts" on an Idolatrous Church
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven
about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which
stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. Rev 8:1-2
Babylon fell in one night. Alexander quickly dispatched with Medo-Persia
and Greece fell almost as quickly to Rome. But, it took 1000 years for
Rome to fall (406 - 1453). And it fell in three parts.
- The First Four Trumpets - The West falls to the Goths
- The Fifth Trumpet - The Saracens Locust Plague
- The Sixth Trumpet - The Fall of Eastern Cristendom
