A New Resource
PEEPs is Alabama's new parent mentoring program for families who have children with hearing loss. Volunteer parent mentors work directly with professionals in their fields (audiology, speech therapy, hearing impaired teachers, etc.) and organize current information and share with other volunteers from around the state, all working hard to raise awareness about hearing loss in children. Parent mentors help unite families together with common interests via email and social events. If you are a family or professional, you may contact a PEEP by visiting their website.
