Hoffman Estates, Illinois - September, 2011 - Arbor Counseling Center congratulates Matthew McDonald on his recent licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). This licensure requires consistent study and practice working in a clinical setting with couples and families in all stages of developement. Matt's LMFT designation assures his competencies in providing couples and families with exceptional clinical care crafted to their unique needs.
Matt is a graduate of Wheaton College with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. He has experience providing services to clientele with a diverse set of issues and concerns that has given Matt an appreciation for the uniqueness of every person'sstory. He believes that each individual and family should be treated with a holistic or "big picture" approach. With this perspective, Matt makes it a priority to address multiple facets of a client's life including mental, relational, physical and spiritual health.
