Expanding Product Line

We are very pleased to be expanding our product line to include Steelhead Trout, farmed raised by a vertically integrated producer in Canada.  Our producer raises only the highest quality Steelhead Trout in pristine Canadian waters allowing us to guarantee only the best in its line of the finest farmed products.  We will have a year round supply of a variety of whole fish and fillets, distributed from Boston and New York by February 1st.  Farmed steelhead is a tasty alternative to traditional Atlantic Salmon - call us today for more information on this exciting new product!

BASC Auditor Certification at Produmar Plant

At the end of last month, personnel from Produmar Plant received certification as BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) auditors.  For Produmar, the purpose of the BASC certification is, as mentioned in their safety policy; to identify and mitigate the risks of illicit activities by third parties in the logistics chain by diligently complying with the BASC regulations.

Having an internal group of BASC auditors means that employees are well educated in this standard and therefore are able to implement the regulations. The certification process for the plant was concluded early this week.
