Since Venture Up began in 1983, the founders have supported local, national and international charities. Today, our "Teaming for Charity" programs facilitate corporate giving in a variety of ways, locally and beyond.

Bike Builders
Hewlett Packard held an international meeting at the MGM in Las Vegas recently, building bikes for children in need at the local Boys & Girls Club. (photo right)
 
Medicis 
 
Bike BuildersThe Arizona Grand Resort at South Mountain hosted 300 Medicisbke building 2 executives who built bikes to donate to Phoenix Youth at Risk.  Based in Scottsdale, the Medicis teams took on a host of other challenges: Human Foosball, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Game Show, Giant Scrabble and Strategic Games.

Amazing Race

The Amazing Race sends your exec teams on a problems solving mission throughout your resort town.  Ideal for all size groups, the Amazing Race usually last 2-4 hours and is especially popular in warm climes, such as Las Vegas, Scottsdale and the Caribbean Islands. 
 
 
McKinsey & Company took on this challenge with 70 executives in the historic town of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Flagstaff PenguinAchieversYoung Achiever:  Penguin from Flagstaff, AZ
 
Miles Lengyel, 12, is the first Flagstaff athlete ever to compete in the World PeeWee Hockey Championships held in Quebec annually since 1959.  Miles qualified for the Jr. Penguins team at the Nike-Bauer showcase in Chicago in November.  His community service efforts include supporting Special Olympics and volunteering as a referee for hockey fund raising events.

RopesRitz Ritz Carlton + Venture Up = Ropes Course ...
 
The Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain near Tucson has joined hands with Venture Up  to offer team building programs on-site, including a ropes course with zip lines, and a rappelling area.  Opened in December 2009, the Ritz has already hosted Venture Up programs, including AON Consulting (see newsletter banner),  a reinsurance intermediary firm with offices in 40 nations.
