Hello Shooters,
Chris Hartley, one of the founders of the gun range asked me to pass along a message...
Dear Mr. Gorman,
As you know, I am the original founder of Second Amendment Inc. now known as Second Amendment Outfitters. I spent a great deal of energy and finances to build one of the finest gun range facilities in Florida. It was my pleasure and honor to help the great people of this area to exercise their Second Amendment constitutional rights and give them a safe and friendly atmosphere.
At this time, I am taking my fight for the people one step further. I have recently registered with The Nassau County Supervisor of Elections to run for Sheriff of Nassau County. My former experience as a United States Merchant Marine Officer and local police officer coupled with my 15 years of local business experience gives me a real edge in this race. I am not a politician and I will not be a politician and this is why I seek this position. We must kick the politicians out of police work in this county. Historically speaking, career officers and politicians do not make good sheriffs in Nassau County. It is time that somebody who understands the system comes in and runs the department as a business. It is time that someone who has experienced more than one aspect of life take over the office. And it is time that we as a community get behind the right person and let our voices be heard. I am that person and I will take that office. I will give it back to the people and I will create an environment where the very men and women who protect and serve us will be proud to be a part of it.
I am doing everything within my capabilities to campaign for this office. However, it is overwhelming and does not come cheap. I am respectfully asking for the help of any of your members, guests or staff. I could use volunteers as well as financial contributions. I understand that times are tough and whether it is $5 or $500 (maximum allowed per person) all contributions are appreciated. Most importantly I need your votes on the August 14th primary. I thank you for your time and God Bless America.
All contributions can be sent to:

We wish Chris the best of luck and success with his campaign for Nassau County Sheriff. Next time you're in the shop, please take a moment to sign a candidate's petition to get Chris's name on the ballot.
SAO and SEPSA Team Up to Host Indoor Shooting Match
The South East Practical Shooters Association (a division of the USPSA) and Second Amendment Outfitters will stage a match at our indoor range here in Yulee, FL on Tuesday, March
13 starting at 7:30pm. Check out the USPSA and SEPSA websites http://www.uspsa-clubs.com/sepsa/ and http://www.uspsa.org/ to see what these competitions are all about. If you've never shot competitively, no need to feel intimidated - it's a very friendly environment and the officials and other shooters are quick to give you pointers and make you feel welcome.
The cost is $20 per shooter or $15 for SEPSA members. You may purchase our range ammo or bring your own and pay the $3 impact fee. Sorry, no reloaded ammo allowed.
Since we may need to limit the number of contestants for time restraints, please reply to this email or call the shop at 904-849-7593 to reserve your spot. If response warrants, we will consider hosting a monthly match.
Hot New Trade-Ins Won't Last Long!
We took in some sweet guns on trade in the past couple of weeks. Here are four that won't be in the case for long:
From the Kimber Custom Shop, this Custom Covert II .45 is in like new condition. Featuring a 5" match grade barrel, digital camo grips with Crimson Trace laser, dark earth aluminum frame and tritium night sites, this gun retails new for over $1,500. Our price is a ridiculously low $949.99! Check out all the specs here: http://www.kimber1911pistols.com
Next up is this 7-shot Taurus .357 revolver in the matte/stainless steel finish. The MSRP on a new one is $607. This one is in like new condition and we are selling it for just $349.99. That's a bunch of reliable firepower for the money.
This next one is for you Browning fans out there who want to own a piece of history. It's a beautifully crafted BDA-380 in nickle finish and smooth walnut grips. It comes with 3 double stack 13 round magazines. These guns were manufactured for 20 years and were adopted by the Belgian police. They were discontinued in 1997. These are not easy to find, especially in near mint condition and our low price of just $399.99.
Last but not least in the line-up is this Smith & Wesson SD9
with two 16 round magazines. Nothing fancy here - just a great gun at a great price. MSRP on a new one is $469. This one will fly out of here for $349.99. Don't wait to put it in your hand.
Thanks again to all of you for helping to make SAO the success it is and for getting the word out to your friends and family about how much fun you can have here at the range. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Have fun and stay safe,
Michael Gorman

P.S. We are now taking reservations for our new class offering - NRA First Steps - Basic Rifle Orientation. Students will learn all about bolt action, lever action and semi-automatic rifles and will fire each, including an AR15, in the range. This is a great class for kids just getting started in the shooting sports. Class size will be limited to six students so book your seats early. The first one is scheduled for 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, March 18th. Cost is $99.99 per student.
