In this issue, Delta reports that Washington has the 3rd lowest vacancy of any major metro area in the nation, behind only Philadelphia and New York. Apartment Market Highlights by Delta Associates
DC vacancy rates for investment grade apartments (Class A and B) are 3.5%, up only slightly from a year ago.
Rents rose 2.5% for the 12 months ending June 2012.
