Greetings!

For some time I’ve disregarded persistent advice to blog more regularly. It’s not that I don’t have just as many opinions and ideas as the next person, but I wasn’t sure what value yet another blog would add to the financial services space. A wealth of information can already be found regarding sound investing and financial planning for families and individuals.

But I’m finally taking that advice and stepping up my blogging activities. You can access the Alliant Wealth blog here.

Why now? In 2011, we inaugurated the Alliant Wealth 401(k) Solution, to help plan sponsors achieve quality and compliance in their 401(k) plans. In this arena, I feel there’s an information void that I would like to help fill with ongoing commentary.

Yes, family wealth definitely has its complexities, and deserves fiduciary levels of professional care. But I would argue that it’s an even greater challenge to find good advice on how to run a successful company retirement plan, particularly in an ever-evolving regulatory environment. As a result, many plan sponsors are not familiar with the latest rules, products and best practices necessary to provide a compliant and effective plan to their employees.

As I blog, I hope you will be in touch with your own ideas and questions!

Best,
