Donna Fujimoto Cole
President/CEO, Cole Chemical & Distributing, Inc

A third generation Japanese-American, Donna Fujimoto Cole grew up in South Texas. Donna founded Cole Chemical over 30 years ago at the age of 27, divorced with a four-year old daughter with $5,000 from savings. The company has grown consistently and the company's sales were in excess of $70 million in 2008. Donna knows the challenges of starting a business from scratch in a male dominated industry. Cole Chemical is ranked #44 in the top 100 chemical distributors in the United States by CPI Purchasing Magazine and has been one of the Houston's top 10 woman-owned businesses for many years. Philanthropy has been an integral part of Donna's life. She has served on many boards and serves on the Houston Parks Board, Holocaust Museum Advisory Board, Houston Minority Supplier Development Council's Executive Advisory Board and Women's Home Advisory Board. She is a former board member of the Amos Tuck School of Business and the Center for Asian Pacific American Women. Donna is also a 2009 Junior Achievement Laureate and was inducted into the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame. In 1991, she served on President George H.W. Bush President's Export Council. Community service includes: Building a Pipeline for the Sciences, All Earth Ecobot Challenge, Dismantling the Cradle to Prison Pipeline, and Building a Leadership Pipeline for Young Asian Women professionals. Donna attended Pan American University and The Amos Tuck School of Business Minority Business Executive Program; and graduated from Manpower Business Training Institute of Technology. She is also a graduate of the Center for Houston's Future Class of 2005 and American Leadership Class of XXV.

Elsie Huang
Chair, Mayor's International Affairs and Economic Development Council - Asia/Australia

Elsie Huang was born in Tuscon, Arizona, and moved to Houston when she was 10. Elsie has had three major careers in her lifetime. This summer, Elsie retired as the president of the Asian Chamber of Commerce after serving for six years. In 1996, she retired as principal in the Katy Independent School District with 26 years of educational experience, and in 1970 she sold two beauty salons which she owned and operated. Elsie has been an active civic leader for many years and has served on numerous boards. She is co-chair of the International Trade Center and president of the Chinese Professional Club (CPC) Scholarship Fund, Inc. She serves on the board of the State Bar of Texas Crime Victim's Committee and the Chinese Community Center. She also serves as the chair of the Mayor's International Affairs and Development Council Asia/Australia. Elsie was appointed by Governor George H.W. Bush as a public board member of the State Bar of Texas from 1999 to 2002. Elsie received many honors including the National Exemplary Principal by President Bush, YMCA Minority Achiever, TWEF International Leadership award, and CPC Outstanding Community Leader. She was recently featured on the cover of the Houston Woman Magazine with an article about her retirement from the Asian Chamber of Commerce. Elsie received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Education Administration degree from the University of Houston. She holds three certifications in the field of education: Teacher; Counselor and the Mid-Management. She is married to C.C. Huang and has two children, Karen and Michael; and three grandchildren, Rachel, Hunter and Halle.
