Over the weekend I was gathering financial data for a big planning day for my business. In an effort to find some important figures, such as "Average Sale", "Average Sale per Customer", and the like, I found myself doing a lot of tedious counting and figuring. I thought: There has to be a better way! After a little searching I found this great Excel spreadsheet from Excel Idea that uses QuickBooks data to determine tons of useful figures. And it's practically a STEAL at the price of $5.99.
I am no Excel expert, so you can trust that this is really easy to use. Simply export a few reports from QuickBooks and the information is automatically filtered into the colorful and useful graphs. The excel file can be downloaded directly onto your computer and includes clear step-by-step instructions.
The file includes graphs like Monthly Sales Growth %, Top 5 Items Sale Analysis, Number of Customers Served Each Month, and Top 5 Customer Sales Analysis. One of my favorite features is the Forecast Graph, which includes a predictive trend based off previous months.
