We hope you all had an enjoyable holiday season. The faculty at BDC is excited to get back in the studio working with our dancers and getting ready for another wonderful year of dance. Believe it or not our "Evening of Dance"(instudio performance) is just 4 weeks away. Before you know it Festival will be here and then it will be time for our Year End Showcase- MAY 26th

NEW: BALLET/JAZZ/TAP COMBO CLASS
We are happy to announce we will be offering a brand new BALLET/JAZZ/TAP combo class for dancers 4 - 6 years of age beginning Saturday January 21st. This new 6 week program will provide young dancers with an introduction to dance. EVENING OF DANCE

This is the event you have been asking us about. Come join us as we showcase our dancers at an "Evening of Dance" at BDC. This FREE hour long presentation provides a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to view some current work by our dancers as we celebrate "Dance Days" in Victoria. This is a popular event. The last two years have been standing room only!

FESTIVAL PARTICIPATION
BDC will be participating in both DanceWorks and The Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festivals again this year. Both Festivals will be taking place in April. Please double check the studio calendar to ensure you keep festival dates available for your dancer. We will also be sending out informative Newsletters as it gets closer to the Festival dates. |
ATTENDANCEAs we start the new year we would like to remind everyone how important it is to attend all your scheduled classes. Regular attendance is crucial for consistent progress of the individual dancer and the class as a whole. Teachers will be focusing on choreography in preparation for festival participation and the year end showcase.
If a dancer must be absent from class please email or call the studio prior to the start of class.
