Spotlight on: Middle School Math
Middle school Math can be challenging -- all those fractions, decimals and percents (The Middle School Merry-Go-Round) are sometimes more intense than high school Math!
Robin Feiner, inventor and education-savvy Mom, highly recommends ALEKS as an excellent supplemental Math tool.
There is always a lot of discussion about what students 'should' learn. Here in NYC, early 8th graders can take the Specialized High School Admissions Test to compete for entry into Bronx, Science, Stuyvesant and other well-regarded schools.
