Brushing Up on Your Interviewing Skills Through Mock Interviews  With Guest "Interviewer & Observer" and HR Professional, Colleen McCarthy

Mock Interviews Are Great Practice for the Real Thing!

During this session, each person will have the opportunity to do a mock interview - in a positive, supportive environment and receive valuable feedback from fellow Vocare members and our special guest, Colleen McCarthy, Associate HR Director at California Lutheran University. Come prepared to answer typical (and not do typical!) questions from our experienced team of seasoned HR professionals/recruiters. You'll leave this meeting with tools to help equip you to answer factual, quantifiable, and behavioral-based questions that will help you sell yourself to recruiters and hiring managers.

About Colleen: With an extensive career as an HR professional, Colleen brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise to the area of career search strategies, interviewing, and resume writing. She has interviewed, reviewed, researched, on-boarded, and hired numerous positions in various industries and truly knows how to guide others to "put their best foot forward."  And as a local resource in her role as CLU's Associate HR Director, she has proven herself to be a resource, close friend, and fount of inspiration to Vocare and its members!
