New Year, New Look

New Opportunities for Tenants
 

All of us at Cresa in Boston hope that your New Year is off to a great start!

 

This year, we are pleased to continue to share our TenantReport every month as a way to help our clients and colleagues improve efficiencies, cut costs, and increase profits. Typically, these reports inform you about timely trends in the industry. In this edition, however, we wanted to inform you about some news at Cresa.

 

In 2011, the Boston headquarters of Cresa marked our 25th anniversary year by setting records for total transactions and square feet. Meanwhile, Cresa LLC fortified its position as North America's premier corporate real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation, growing to more than 800 professionals in 55 locations. In addition, through an alliance with Savills, we have expanded our global capability and now serve more than 250 markets with 22,000 employees worldwide.

 

As part of our "rebranding," you will note two immediate changes:

 

  • We have shortened our corporate name from CresaPartners to Cresa. Also, while we originally used Corporate Real Estate Service Advisors to define us, we have dropped that tag. Why? As we have evolved, people in the marketplace know us simply as Cresa. 
  • We have changed our "look" with a new logo, a redesigned web site (www.cresa.com), and other new collateral such as this e-bulletin. We did this partly to be more compatible with the Savills logo.  

The More Things Change...

While these changes are a symbolic way to reflect our growth and success, it's important to note that our core values at Cresa haven't changed at all: http://www.cresa.com/firm/culture.asp. We will continue to "do the right thing," provide The Tenant's Advantage, and avoid conflicts of interest.

 

Further, our independence and ownership is unchanged, with over 160 partners in North America, widely held equity, and no debt. And, our existing web site and email contact information will continue to function just as before.

 

Most importantly, we are excited about all the new opportunities we have to serve you as it remains a tenant's market in 2012.
