Welcome to the Winter 2010 edition of The Manufactured Housing News.  This publication includes news and information for manufacturers, retailers, land lease community owners and industry partners within the manufactured housing industry.  
2010 MHAAC Annual General Meeting 
MHAAC's Annual General Meeting will take place Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Delta Beausejour Hotel in Moncton, NB from 12:30 p.m. to   2:30 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for members to review the Association's successes and challenges for the year 2009 and its plans for the coming year.  Guest speaker will be Roy Silliker of the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association who will present on Ways to Assist You in Your Safety Due Diligence. Elections for the 2010 MHAAC Board of Directors will also take place during the meeting. A meeting agenda can be found in the events section of the MHAAC website.
 
Don't miss this opportunity to be updated on important information within the manufactured housing industry as well as network with other association members. Email Yvon Williams at info@mhaac.ca if you plan to attend the AGM.   
 
The MHAAC Annual General Meeting is being held this year in conjuction with CHBA-NB Habitation 2010. Due to its line-up of speakers and other events, there will be great learning and networking opportunities planned for those who attend.  MHAAC will also have a booth at the Trade Show portion of the event. Information and registration forms for Habitation 2010 can be found on the CHBA-NB website. You have until Thursday, February 11th at 12:00 noon to register for Habitation. 
MHC Course Delivered
Fifteen participants completed the new edition of the Manufactured Housing Consultant Course (MHC®) which was held on January 25th and 26th at the Crowne Plaza Moncton Downtown in Moncton, NB.  The course participants will be eligible to earn the MHC® Designation after the completion of a final assignment.
