2009 MHAAC Semi-Annual Meeting
The MHAAC SAM was held on October 2nd and 3rd at the Riverside Resort and Conference Centre in Mactaquac, NB. A total of 48 members and guests were in attendance. Five speakers on the agenda for the general meeting spoke on such issues as the NS Homeowner Protection (Bill 212), the NS New Home Construction Rebate, the state of the Canadian Labour Market, proposed changes to the NS Building Code and an outlook on the current housing market. The fun part of the weekend included a round of golf and a boat trip up the Saint John River, both surrounded by the amazing colours of fall. A fabulous dinner and some hilarious entertainment rounded out the event.
Speakers' presentations can be found in the members' section of the MHAAC website.
