Applications Must Be Received BY March 3, 2010
The Department of Industrial Accidents Office of Safety released the Safety and Health Education and Training Grant Program's Training Grant for fiscal year 2011.
The objective of this program is to promote safety and healthy conditions in the workplace by awarding state funds to eligible applicants who submit responses designed to provide and improve safety education and training in Occupational Safety and Health to employers/employees within the Commonwealth covered by the Massachusetts Workers' Compensation Law (MGL c. 152). Complete instructions will be detailed in the Safety Training Grant Application.
Anyone who is interested in receiving a copy of the "FY 2011 Training Grant" may do so by e-mailing safety@dia.state.ma.us, download a copy of the application from our website - www.mass.gov/dia/safety or from the Operational Services Division (OSD) home page at www.mass.gov/osd. The completed grant application must be submitted electronically and sent to the Office of Safety electronic.safetygrant@dia.state.ma.us. Electronic grant submissions must be received no later than 2:00 pm, March 3, 2010.
