It was great to see our customers who attended the Louisiana Kidney Foundation charity event. I am sure it was a big success. Look for photos of Chef Jacques on the Society Page of the Times Picayune and in St. Charles Magazine.

 

We were happy to donate a gift certificate to the Metairie Road Business Association's Annual Golf Tournament, because we know they are helping area schools and businesses. They have some great auction items, too, including a football signed by Eli Manning, a Zurich Classic tee flag signed by all the major golfers, a Hornet's cap signed by Chris Paul, and a Drew Brees autographed Saints jersey. I hear there's still room for players and other business involvement. It's being held at Colonial Country Club on May 17th. See their newsletter golf article for more info about their tournament.

 

Chateau du Lac Deli
Chateau now does deli. You've got to taste Chef's citrus-cured house-smoked salmon, at $18 per pound, and his rabbit terrine with pistachio and cognac, at $15 per pound. (Half-pound minimum, please. Anything over 2 pounds, please call 48 hours in advance.)
