 We are so excited about our "Decorate a Plate" contest. What a fun way to decorate the restaurant and include our customers' artwork! Not only that, but you can win a dinner for two. What a great holiday present that would make! More details below...
Chef has just announced that we will be serving foie gras gumbo through the winter season. This is Chef Jacques' original creation and only available through Chateau du Lac.
Beaujolais Nouveau
Arriving Thursday, November 19th at Chateau du Lac is the famous "Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau".
I have enjoyed working with customers planning their holiday events. We still have some available space for private events. Please call Paige for custom menus and prices when planning your holiday or any special events at Chateau du Lac or at your location of choice. Remember, we will work with you, whether it's a buffet or a seated lunch or dinner. Chateau du Lac will be excited to help you plan your event. New Year's Eve: Thursday 12/31 from 5 - 9 PM
NOTES:
- Our daughter, Ainsley, will be performing with The New
Orleans Ballet Theatre in "The Nutcracker". Performances will be Saturday, November 28th at 2 and 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM at Roussel Hall at Loyola University. - December's "Wine Tasting Wednesday" will be lots of fun, sponsored by Chateau du Lac and featuring "CELEBRATIONAL CHAMPAGNES". This month's event is Wednesday, December 2nd at the Chateau du Lac bar from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. These tastings are the first Wednesday of every month. Included with the $8 per flight (champagne) is Chef's selection of marvelous hors d'oeuvres! This event is a special treat that you'll definitely want to attend. |

Due to their busy schedule, we are fortunate to have them one last time before next year.
 Chateau du Lac is happy to have Gypsy Trio tomorrow, Wednesday, November 18th, from 6 - 9 PM. Come by for some French jazz, food and wine.
Reminding you that resuming November 25th, Eddie Russo will be with us again from 6 - 8:30 PM, continuing on Wednesdays thru the holidays. |

"Decorate a Plate" Contest
Each time you join us for dinner or lunch you will get a plate to decorate that will be placed on our wall for holiday decor and entered into our holiday contest. (You may bring your plate home and return it later to be entered into the contest, maybe even have your child decorate it...)
Plate decorating starts Friday after Thanksgiving, November 27th. Each time you come in to dine you can vote for your favorite plate (including your own). Each entree (Les Plates) ordered receives one "Decorate a Plate" entry.
