 Welcome to our August newsletter, where we make you the insider on specials, events, coupons and information about Chateau du Lac Bistro. We'd like to thank all of you who read our newsletter and who respond to us regularly.

RESTAURANT NEWS:
- August's "Wine Tasting Wednesday" will be featuring some great wines from Glazer's. This month's event is Wednesday, August 5th at the Chateau du Lac bar from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. These tastings are the first Wednesday of every month. Included with the $5 per flight is Chef's selection of hors d'oeuvres! Put us on your calendar and we'll see you on the 5th.
- On your next visit to Chateau du Lac, be sure to drop your business card into the fish bowl or fill out a raffle slip to win dinner for two. Drawings are held monthly at "Wine Tasting Wednesdays".
 - "2 for 1 Happy Hour at Our Bar" is Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5:30-7 PM. Our cocktails are always great quality, because we stock our well full of premium brands. Included are wines by the glass and our import beer. |

| The Return of the Gypsy Trio
 The Gypsy Trio was such a success for our Bastille Day celebration, you all have asked for them to return, and so they are! Since our goal is to give you what you want, they will be performing at Chateau du Lac again on Wednesday, August 12th, from 6 - 9 PM.

"Menu Parisien" is a Big Hit  Back by popular demand, Chateau du Lac is continuing our classic "menu parisien" special. Enjoy a soup or salad with the "plat du jour" and a beverage for $16 "prix fixe".
Menu items served last month included steak frites, blanquette du veau, coq au vin and dijon crusted pork tenderloin. These and many more of Chef's favorites were a big hit during the past month and will be back in August.
As a reminder, lunch is served from 11:30 - 2 pm, on Tuesday thru Friday. |

 Best Burger in Town!
Perhaps the city's best kept burger secret is the "Chateau du Lac Burger," 100% filet mignon, ground "a la minute," served on a grilled whole wheat bun with fresh greens, tomatoes and cornichons. Our famous, fabulous pomme frites accompany the burger. Choose from roquefort or swiss cheeses. And now proudly offering our guests the option to top off this feast with Chef's delicious, seared foie gras.
