I would like to thank you so much for the wonderful books we received each month for our Grandson Caden.  We signed Caden up for the free books through the internet when Caden was just turning one.  Caden comes to our home every other weekend and he knows when he puts on his PJ's it's time for "Books"!

Caden's favorite book is "Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney", he just screams with joy when I ask him if he wants to read that one.  I never get through story time without reading this book at least twice. Caden is my first Grandson and I have spent so much time bonding with him over these books, so I wanted to thank the foundation and all the sponsors for giving us this time together.
Sincerely,
Sandra and Caden Wood

Welcome to the New Ferst Communities!
Lowndes County- The county seat is Valdosta. Other cities in Lowndes County include Barretts, Bemiss, Clyattville and Dasher. Lowndes County is named for William Lowndes, a South Carolina statesman who died shortly after being nominated for Vice President of the United States. The county seat, Valdosta, was named for Governor George Troup's plantations, named for an Italian alpine valley, Val D'Osta. The county's numerous opportunities for recreation include Langdale Park, the county's newest park. The 5,000-acre Grand Bay Wildlife Management Area, 10 miles north of Valdosta, is the second largest cypress-blackgum bay in Georgia after the Okefenokee Swamp. Visitors to the Wildlife Management Area can fish, canoe, birdwatch, hike, camp, and hunt. Moody Air Force Base is located in the county. It was named for George Putnam Moody who died in an air crash in 1941.

Candler County- The county seat is Metter. The city of Pulaski is also in Candler County. The county was created from parts of Bulloch, Emanuel, and Tattnall counties. Georgia's 48th county was named for former Governor Allen D. Candler who spent a great deal of his retirement years compiling the state's Colonial, Revolutionary, and Confederate records. Local attractions include the Charles C. Harrold Nature Preserve, home of the rare gopher tortoise and the Elliotta racemosa plant; and the George L.Smith State Park.[1]
