Setting Your Intentions for the New Year

Greetings!
2009...can you believe it?
Maybe like me, you've been thinking about your intentions for this
year. What might those look like from a
health and well-being perspective?
Well, I am constantly reminded just how important it is to
provide our bodies with what they need to function optimally. For each of us, that can be slightly
different priorities but at mid-life some specific health issues continue to be
at the front of the line... boosting the immune system, keeping blood glucose
balanced and decreasing inflammation, effectively managing stress, balancing
and supporting adrenals, thyroid and sex hormones...all while enjoying LIFE and
doing the myriad of things that we do!
And I know this, because I am in mid-life myself, dealing
with these very issues every day. To
be successful with my intentions for the New Year, I've found that the more
available, effective and practical the solutions are, the more likely I am to
follow through and get the benefits.
As we start into 2009, you'll notice I'm offering some new
events at GMA to help us put better health practices into place in easy and
doable ways. From the basics of
nutrition to more specific nutritional plans, to body assessments of healthy
fat and muscle ratios, to "simple to implement" stress management tools, to
exercise that works for you, and to groups for personal growth, support and
connections, all the way to continued assessment and balancing of physiologic
body hormones...there is something for everyone. And these are tried and true methods, used successfully by many
people in my practice over the years.
Check it out and see what might best meet your current
needs. And if on the off chance you
don't see what you are looking for, let me know...we'll see what we can do.
