Free Sheet Music to Download

Dear                     free

Here's your JB Linear Monthly Freebie.

Matthew Wilson is one of JB Linear's composer/arrangers and he has offered his fine woodwind quintet version of Handel's "Largo" from Xerses. Matthew provides for alternate parts, so it can be played by a wide variety of instruments. His download includes a score and parts.

  • A special thank-you to Matthew Willson for offering his arrangement of "Largo" by Handel for this month's free sheet music. I would always love to look at any music anyone else would like to offer for the monthly free sheet music on this newsletter.

Just a bit about Matthew: He is a teacher, performer and published writer living in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. His woodwind ensembles have the advantage of having alternate parts provided so a clarinet could play the oboe part, or a bass clarinet could play the bassoon part if those instruments are not available.

 Player's quinte* of the month:

When playing in an ensemble don't forget that different instruments respond in different ways to playing very loudly or very softly.

Have fun playing!
