Here's your JB Linear Monthly Freebie.
This month the freebie sheet music is "Minuet (Old Style)" by Edward Elgar, arranged for woodwind duets (2 flutes, 2 clarinets, 2 saxophones, or 2 bassoons). This little piece is from Elgar's "The Wand of Youth", which he wrote when he was a child, and then arranged for orchestra later in life.

- I would like your comments about a new way I am testing to show customers score and audio samples on my web site. I am creating the videos for these Elgar pieces using the playback function of Finale and Camtasia Studio to record the screen shots. The videos are also being hosted on Camtasia's ScreenCast service. Please take a look at one or more of the Elgar settings at www.music4woodwinds.com. There are ten new pieces:
- Ann Campbell has added a new Christmas piece for quartet, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". Ann's music is always filled with rhythm and presents the song very well. Her flute quartets have been popular with JB Linear customers. There is a video for her piece, too.
- Joe Armstrong and Liz Leehey have added several more of their wonderful flute and clarinet duets.
