Introducing the flute and clarinet duet transcriptions of Joe Armstrong and Liz Leehey
Joe and Liz are Duo Cantabile, a flute and clarinet ensemble playing in the Southern New England region in the USA. Now their duet transcriptions are available through JB Linear Music!
"Duo Cantabile is a small ensemble playing big repertoire. Working first and foremost for our own artistic fulfillment, we have reached outside the regular flute/clarinet literature to create transcriptions that bring pieces of great music into a new kind of existence. We are pleased to be offering these gems in venues where they will be appreciated and enjoyed." View their website.

Player's hint of the month: "...above all...to achieve a cantabile style in playing..." J.S. Bach
(from the Duo Cantabile web page)
*a hunklemaz is a mythic instrument that plays high in the bass clef and can only play naturals and flats.
Have fun playing!
