2008 Community Benefits Report

On behalf of the Providence Health & Services Southwest MedriceCollucioWashington Service Area, I am pleased to share with you our Community Benefit Report. Please take a moment to browse through these pages, reflecting on what your community hospitals and services are doing to provide healing and compassionate care to those who are cared for by our ministries.

More than a century ago, the Sisters of Providence brought essential health care services to this area. It is an honor to continue their work in supporting the health care needs of Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties.

Every day, our employees, physicians and volunteers carry out the Providence Mission to reveal God's love for all, especially the poor and vulnerable. I am honored to be part of this amazing team of dedicated, talented and compassionate caregivers. We have the privilege of continuing the health care ministry of our Providence Sisters. Together, we are creating a healthier future for the communities we serve.
