Jewish Music Program

Join the Jewish Pavilion for a Musical concert on Sunday, January 18th at 1 PM at Horizon Bay on Boston Avenue. Samantha Trattner, a freshman at Lake Mary High School, will be singing show tunes and Jewish songs. Samantha is a talented actress with a beautiful singing voice and lots of personality. She will be accompanied by her mother, Joanne Fink. The festivities will include  Jewish apple cake prepared by Lee Delnick, a former kosher caterer from Massachusettes as well as other wonderful Jewish snacks provided by Elise Schilowitz.

Jewish musical programs are offered monthly by the Jewish Pavilion. The next event is February 15th and will feature Dr. Richard Knapp, playing Klezmer music on the banjo.

We so appreciate your support as we care for  elderly Jewish adults who can no longer care for themselves. Our agency has provided residents of  40 long term care facilities with Hanukah parties. Jewish  and non Jewish residents have so enjoyed the festivities.

"Building a Legacy of Care"

Support our efforts to enhance the lives of Jewish residents in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout Central Florida by providing regular visitation, Shabbat and holiday meals, religious services, rabbinical visits, Yiddish musical programs and other enrichments. We make over 100 visits a week to seniors in fifty long-term care facilities in addition to our group programs. Our respite  program gives caregivers a break on Fridays by allowing their loved ones to meet at the JCC for  day-long activities including a Shabbat service. With  your help, we can expand our program and reach out to more people in need.

GIVING LEVELS:

    • $36 provides a Chanukah party at one long term care facility.
    • $100 provides a dozen residents with a Shabbat meal.
    • $180 provides a Seder and siddurim for ten residents.
    • $500 provides for high holiday services and celebrations in ten nursing homes.
    • $1000 provides for monthly rabbinical visits in fifteen assisted living facilities.
    • $5000 provides for Shabbat food, services and activities for nine seniors in our weekly Respite Care Program
