Greetings!

The J's are in Charleston, SC this weekend for the Region 3 Championship, the Soling 1 Meters are in Sterling, MI for the Region 4 Championship and the Victorias are in Reston, VA   Look for the results in the next Bulletin.

Chester Springs MYC, a quick road to success

John Stoudt is the driving force behind it's creation.  It has gone from just an idea to a racing fleet of boats in five months.  John started with a model boat display and lecture at his local library, recruited a bunch of interested people, helped them build boats with weekly sessions in his home workshop and acquired the use of a pond on privately owned land.  The club now has AMYA affiliation, a dinghy, a dock and a web site.  Eight boats raced on July 3 and there are more in the works.

Region 6 Santa Barbara Championship Cancelled

It is with much regret that due to lack of entries, the Elk Grove Model Yacht Club has cancelled the Region-6 Santa Barbara Championship Regatta scheduled for August 14 - 15, 2010, in West Sacramento, California.

Mystic, CT

The north lawn at Mystic Seaport will be the location for next weekends Vintage Model Days and then in mid-August, the J's and EC 12's take over.  Check out the Mystic Seaport Website for more information.
