Photo Caption Contest

A photo posted on the CR 914 class website at www.cr914class.org/photo_caption_contest.php this winter needs a caption! All entries will appear under the photo in the spring issue of the class newsletter, the CRonicle, and the winner, to be chosen by a vote of CRonicle subscribers, will receive an 18-month subscription to the CRonicle (or an 18-month extension of her/his current subscription). Everyone is eligible to enter, using the email form posted on the Caption Contest webpage. All entries must be received on or before March 20.


AMYA News

The deadline for ballot entries for the following positions is March 3rd:

President
Vice President
Region 1 Director
Region 2 Director
Treasurer

If you are interested in running for one of these positions, get your nomination and second to John Hanks before the deadline.
 
Indoor Sailing
Indoor RC Laser Regatta January 30th.  This is one way to avoid the several feet of snow dumped on the Mid-Atlantic states recently.

Please make sure that your regatta is listed in the AMYA schedule and to submit your regatta report to the Regatta Coordinator.  The Model Yachting Editor encourages the use of the summary report.

The 2010 Nationals will be hosted by Chicago Model Yacht Club September 25th & 26th.  Stay tuned for more details.

Submissions are accepted.  Do you have something quick you want to get to a bunch of people?  Sure send it in.  However, anything more than a paragraph really belongs in the AMYA magazine, Model Yachting
