 Mermaid Sighting
 Racing yacht or lawn ornament?

Ken Shaw points out that at mile marker 53.6 on the New York Thruway look to your right, down through the notch. Most people won't know what it is, they'll catch a quick glimpse of it from the highway and think, oh nice piece of art. But its more then that, its America's Cup history...Young America's AC yacht(USA-36) ...sitting above a reflecting pond, nestled in the trees.

Given the time you can visit her at The Storm King Art Center.
