CamAm Challenge Cup Regatta at Stowe
The Stowe Yacht Club
(AMYA #159) will be hosting the First Annual "CanAm Challenge
Cup" Regatta for Soling One Meters, on September 12 & 13, 2009.
This event will be sailed on the Commodore's Pond
behind the Commodore's Inn located in Stowe,
Vermont.
"The Beginnings of a Friendly
Cross-Border Rivalry"
Objective:
To promote a friendly, yet competitive, regatta - in the true Corinthian
spirit - that will be scored on two levels: (1) Individual performance,
and (2) Team performance (Canada
vs. U.S). The emphasis is on the individual sailor; team
racing is specifically prohibited. It is anticipated that the top five
individual positions for each country, for each race, will determine the
CanAm Challenge Cup team winner. This number may be adjusted based on
lowest number of entries from one country.

Form) please visit the following

We're anticipating a good turn-out. It's a great time of year
to visit Stowe!
