Quick Congratulations

AMYA News:
Pete Maxson has returned to the helm after his lengthy illness.  Welcome back.  His timeline was pushed forward a bit by Chuck Buzek, who underwent heart surgery last week.  We wish him well during his recovery.

Doug Hemingway is working on updating the current AMYA database.  The goal is to have the ability to give real time access to data to those that need it.  This will be a great improvement over the present "sneaker net" usage today.

Phil Sarelis is working to provide the Board of Directors a forum site for internal discussions.  Hopefully, the Board will be able to kiss the days of "respond to all' emails goodbye.  Thanks Phil.

What is this?
The purpose of this newsletter is to pass along what I hear while wondering the halls at AMYA.  Though I won't officially be a member of the Board until January 1st, they have been kind enough to give me a guided tour of certain areas.

At this time, the AMYA has no formal newsletter program.  And by no means should this rag be considered sponsored or sanctioned by the AMYA.

Submissions are accepted.  Do you have something quick you want to get to a bunch of people?  Sure send it to me.  However, anything more than a paragraph really belongs in Model Yachting.

If you don't want to receive any further issues, please just click the unsubscribe option below.

Thanks for reading.
