Who will win the Canberra BusinessPoint 2012 Awards?
Last year saw the inaugural Canberra BusinessPoint (CBP) Awards and ceremony presented under new management and in a different format. The cocktail style event design was a hit with lots of networking by 120 guests and good food going around the Gordon Darling Hall at the National Portrait Gallery. The ceremony was held in the adjacent theatre with 'talking heads' of each of the finalists with six winners announced by Minister Barr. The event concluded with time for celebrations, more networking and a fabulous desserts spread sponsored by the ACT Government back in the Hall.
This year there will be an overall winner drawn from the six winners in the following categories: Web and Mobile, Clean and Green, Bricks and Mortar, Creative and Design, Micro-enterprise and High Growth. The ACT Government is sponsoring this award with the individual awards sponsored by businesses.
There are still tickets available for the Awards event on Thursday, 6 September. Jessica Good returns to MC this year. Click here to make a booking and to be part of the celebration of the Canberra BusinessPoint business community.
