Based on the best-selling book, 'Overcoming Underearning' by Barbara Stanny, Lighthouse's Commercialisation Manager Cindy Reese-Mitchell will define and explore underearning and the five secrets to overcoming it. It is designed specifically to empower and motivate women to take control of their finances by guiding them in the creation of a concrete plan of action. Ultimately, this session isn't about money. Money is a metaphor for claiming power. A powerful woman is someone who knows who she is and can express that in the world. Money is a potent tool for living life on your own terms. Conversely, there's no better way to limit your power than by limiting your earning potential. Cindy will explore proven strategies to help women: - address hidden emotional issues with money
- manage their money more effectively, and
- take action to increase their earnings
