Established January 1, 2009, the St. Paul Community Outreach Center (SPCOC) will serve the surrounding communities of eastern El Paso County as a safe and supporting environment to encourage and empower the entire community.  The SPCOC will serve as a vital resource for the communities of Calhan, Peyton, Ramah, Falcon, Ellicott, Hanover, Edison, Miami Yoder, Elbert, Elizabeth, Simla, Matheson and Limon.  The SPCOC, along with the partnering agencies, will offer the following services to the community: outreach to seniors & youth, computer lab, emergency assistance, parenting & awareness classes, a community room and recycling facilities.

Agency members of the Community Outreach Coalition (COC) partnering with St. Paul Community Outreach Center will be located at the El Paso County fairgrounds with a goal of servicing neighbors on May 1, 2012.  Partnering agencies include, Women's Resource Agency, TESSA, Pikes Peak Workforce Center, Pikes Peak Library District, Pikes Peak Community Action Agency-Eastern El Paso County, Penrose Cancer Center, National MS Society, The Independence Center, The Resource Exchange, Special Kids, Special Families, CASA, El Paso County Public Health & Department of Human Services, Alzheimer's Association, Community Intersections, Calhan United Methodist Church, St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Michael's Catholic Church and many other local agencies who support the surrounding communities.

The COC is a shining example of people and agencies coming together to serve those in need in the rural communities of eastern El Paso county and 2-1-1 is proud to be a member since November, 2011.  Together we WILL make a difference!

We are fortunate to have so many great agencies that are dedicated to helping those in need in our community.  It is because of all of you that people in our community have a place to turn to for help to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Together we can make a difference!

2-1-1 is a free, confidential  easy-to-remember three-digit phone number that connects people in need with the health and human services they require.  Each year thousands of Coloradans receive referrals for help with utilities, rent, food/meals,  shelter or transitional housing, clothing, healthcare, dental care or assistance with numerous other challenges.

PPUW 2-1-1 serves Chaffee, Cheyenne, El Paso, Lincoln, Park and Teller counties, and portions of the San Luis Valley
