Invaluable Gifts

What is the value of a donation? It's a fun question to ponder.
- $10 may put new books into the hands of young children, but you can't measure the value of inspiring and unlocking their young minds.
- $15 may educate local residents about 2-1-1 and the local services and organizations in our community, but you can't measure the value of connecting people in need with health & human services they desperately require.
- $25 may provide weekly home care visits for a senior, but you can't measure the value of bringing comfort and joy to a lonely individual.
Pikes Peak United Way's donors, advocates and volunteers make a difference is so many ways through the thousands of lives touched in this community.
We cannot express enough gratitude for your invaluable contributions - whether your time, talent or resources. It is through these donations we are able to advance the common good of our community.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

Thank You for Helping Make MADM 2011 a Success!

Thank you to the 15 agencies who provided Make a Difference Month volunteer opportunities this year and for the individuals who selflessly dedicated themselves to increase the quality of life for their neighbors.
1,800 volunteers gave 9,000 hours of service to our community! A special thank you to our sponsors: Pepsi, Anonymous, Webster University, Agilent Technologies, and Tayco. Without your support, Make A Difference Month would not have the level of impact that it has each year.
