The St. John's Auction is on track for the evening of March 2, 2012, so be sure to mark your calendars. Not to toot our own train whistle, but there are already some awesome FIRST CLASS ticket items to be had. Check them out and get all of the Auction details at www.sjauction.org.

 

You'll be receiving a fact-filled Parent Pack in the mail with complete information on Auction underwriting, advertising, item donations and volunteer opportunities. Please take a look and let us know how you'd like to participate. Remember, this train needs a big crew and lots of support!  

 

One easy way to get involved is to buy an Auction program ad. For instance, you can celebrate your favorite St. John's athlete, team or coach with a special message in the program. Crusader Club Dads 'n Kids Breakfast

When: Friday November 11

Dads and kids are invited to breakfast this Friday at 7:15 a.m. in Parish Hall. Donuts, juice, coffee, fruit and yogurt will be served. Please park on campus. Faculty and staff will park off campus that morning. If on-campus parking is not available, you may park on Lake Highlands.

           

Grandparents Day

When: Friday, November 18

PLEASE NOTE: Students must bring a sack lunch that day; catering service will NOT be provided. Also, please encourage grandparents and special friends to use the complimentary valet parking. (Due to the green space restrictions, no parking will be allowed on Harter Road or the grassy area.)

Crusader Club Hay Ride 

When: Friday, December 9

Join the Crusader Club on from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for hot chocolate, s'mores, cookies and other treats, followed by a hay ride to see Lakewood Christmas lights. Faculty Holiday Gift Fund

'Tis the season to show your support for our teachers through the Faculty Holiday Gift Fund. This St. John's holiday tradition is an optional way to show your appreciation for all of the teachers and faculty who make St. John's so special. We ask that you make these contributions in lieu of personal gifts so all of our teachers and faculty receive a token of our thanks. A letter with complete details on the fund and why it is so important will be sent immediately after Thanksgiving.

We need baked goods for

Grandparents Day! 

Sign up if you're able to bring baked goods for kids and grandparents to share on this special day. Click the sign-up button at right for details on what's needed and to register to bring baked goods.

 

The Sunshine Committee is looking for volunteers to help brighten the day of community members in need.  Your efforts can be as simple as purchasing a card, bringing a family a meal or baking cookies. Please contact Kathy Hatcher if you're interested in helping.
